These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using this website and, where applicable, the iUmmah and iMasjid Connect services. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. Separate terms presented for a particular service or transaction also apply to that service or transaction.
Our services
This website provides information about iUmmah, iMasjid Connect and the SDMI project and allows visitors to send enquiries. iUmmah supports daily worship and community discovery. iMasjid Connect supports Masjid activities and administration. Features, availability and access can vary by product, device, location and participating organisation.
Submitting an enquiry does not create an account, confirm onboarding, complete a donation or establish a service agreement. Any service arrangements are confirmed separately.
Accounts and responsibilities
Provide accurate information, use accounts only as authorised and keep login credentials confidential. Tell us through the Contact page if you suspect unauthorised account use. Do not include passwords in an enquiry. Anyone acting for a Masjid or organisation must have authority to do so and permission to submit the information concerned.
Respectful use
Use the website and services lawfully and respectfully. Do not impersonate another person or organisation, submit misleading or unlawful content, infringe the rights of others, send spam, distribute malicious software, interfere with service operation or attempt unauthorised access. We may restrict use where necessary to address misuse, security issues or legal requirements.
Worship information
Prayer times, Qibla directions and other location-based information depend on calculation methods, location accuracy and device settings. Check these settings and confirm relevant details with your local Masjid where needed. Educational and religious content is provided for general learning and does not replace guidance from a qualified scholar.
Information and content
You are responsible for information and content you submit, including ensuring it is accurate and that you have the rights and permissions to share it. Do not submit personal information about others without appropriate authority. Content you choose to share publicly may be visible to other users. Masjid and project records may be supplied by participating organisations; confirm important details directly with the relevant organisation.
Third-party services
Links to app stores, translation tools, external websites and other providers are offered for convenience. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability or content.
If a service offers a payment or donation feature, review the recipient, amount, purpose and provider terms before proceeding. Processing, receipts, cancellations and refunds depend on the relevant provider or recipient and applicable law. A website enquiry is not a payment instruction or confirmation.
Intellectual property
Website content, designs, branding and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may view and use them for their intended purpose. Do not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit protected material without permission or another lawful basis. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and licences.
Privacy and account requests
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Use the Contact page for support, privacy enquiries or account-deletion requests. Identify the relevant service and provide enough information to understand the request. Identity or authority checks may be needed before account-related action is taken.
